“a well run and happy trip”
Wildlife Travel holiday, Coto Doñana 2006
In partnership with Sussex Wildlife Trust
The timing of this trip coincides with the climax of the spectacular autumn bird migration in Doñana and the southern tip of Andalucia between Tarifa and Gibraltar.
From our traditional village hotel in El Rocio, we visit the Coto Doñana reserve, where we will see a variety of wetland birds as well as the Spanish imperial eagle. We then travel to the Gibraltar Strait, where we will visit sites to watch the soaring flocks of kites and eagles, vultures and storks on their way south to Africa for the winter. Whether you’re an experienced birdwatcher or a beginner just wishing to learn more, this autumn migration is an experience that no bird lovers should not miss!
