Wildlife Travel

Wildlife Travel was set up 23 years ago to support conservation. Our destinations include the UK, Europe and worldwide.

We are extremely proud of our holidays and believe that a Wildlife Travel holiday is very different to any other. However, there are many travel companies out there organising holidays to wonderful parts of the world. So why, you may ask, should you travel with us? What makes Wildlife Travel so different?

Nature Conservation

For us, our conservation credentials aren’t just a case of ‘green wash’, they are central to the way we run our holidays and our business. Wildlife Travel was set up in 1988 with the express aim of supporting nature conservation. Any profit made is donated to The Wildlife Trusts to support their vital conservation work here in the UK. We also make sure that, wherever possible, we work directly with nature conservation organisations in the host countries to support their activities. For example, our trip to Bulgaria is organised to support the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, while our stay in the Peruvian rainforest will contribute to the work of the Tambopata Research Centre, studying scarlet macaws. All our leaders either work in, or have direct links with, nature conservation.

Flight-free holidays

We are developing a programme that offers more holidays that do not include flights and it is now possible to travel to several of our European destinations by train.

We are also working closely with the local Wildlife Trusts in the UK to develop a programme of UK breaks, offering wildlife viewing with the local experts  - look out for more news on the trips as they become available.

More than just a wildlife holiday...

While we are obviously focussing on the wildlife and its conservation, there’s so much more to the places we visit. Be it cultural sites, local food or meeting local people, we hope you will join us to enjoy it all!
